Mark was born and raised on a hog farm in Hope MO. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri in Ag Business where he met and subsequently married Linda, who has a degree in elementary education. While working in St. Louis, Mark completed his MBA at St. Louis University. Mark and Linda moved back to Jefferson City in 1995, raising 5 children along the way, Amanda 1986, Matt 1988, Lane 1989, Abigail 1997, and Caraline 2000. Mark assists Linda in leading a local AWANA ministry, and together they love to get away to Lake Ozark, usually with family and friends. Mark has a passion for pursuing Jesus in his Word, and desires to be a part of Freshwater's Mission to reproduce Christ in the life of others.
